Services

I provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults and adolescents in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. All services are currently offered via a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant video conference platform.

I have specialty expertise in addressing the following mental health challenges:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Panic Attacks
  • Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs)
  • Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Life Transitions
  • Grief/Loss
  • Trauma

This list is not exhaustive, so please do not hesitate to contact me and inquire about any other challenges not specifically listed above.  I draw on several different therapeutic modalities and collaborate with my clients to make evidence-based determinations about what methods will best achieve their objectives and interests.  I have extensive experience with the following therapeutic modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

All of my work with clients is rooted in trauma-informed care principles, mindfulness, feminist theory, and social justice.

Insurance

I am considered an “out-of-network” provider for insurance companies.  Depending on your insurance company and coverage plan, some insurance companies will reimburse you, in-part, for my services. I will provide you with a monthly invoice documenting our weekly sessions that you can submit for reimbursement to your health insurance provider if you receive out-of-network benefits.

Fee

My fee is $195 per 50 minute session.
