About Me

My practice and pursuit is to help clients discover their strength, resilience, and untapped potential so they can claim the lives they envision.

My style is warm, authentic, and non-judgmental. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment by listening closely and responding with compassion. I will give you plenty of space to share, explore, and deepen your insight. I will also provide direct, honest, and guided feedback so that you feel empowered and confident in moving forward and implementing positive changes in your life. I believe each of us has intuition, and if we are able to listen to it, we can achieve tremendous growth.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credentialed in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. I practice therapy using several evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). My work is also rooted in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Trauma-Informed Care principles.

I work with adults and adolescents. I have a special interest and advanced training in working with two unique populations:

  1. Pregnant, postpartum, and parenting individuals.
  2. Young adults transitioning into and out of college.
